A dreamscape rendered in clay and fire, Celestial Archive: Volume I is a one-of-a-kind lidded vessel that captures a world both imagined and infinite. The body of the form features a flowing crystal glaze in shades of rust, blue, pink, and yellow—evoking nebulae drifting across deep space. Streaks of drippy pink glaze cascade downward, softening the celestial drama with a surreal, almost planetary sweetness.
Crowning the vessel is a sculptural lid: a miniature world rendered in pink (land) and white (ocean), cradling two gold-glazed mythic sea creatures—a sea monster and a squid—guarding the unknown in quiet opulence. The result is a richly layered object that reads like a page torn from a cosmic atlas—equal parts map, myth, and memory.
This decor only piece is the first in an ongoing series exploring imagined geographies and interstellar storytelling through form and surface.
